Ask a question, spin, and get a fair, random yes or no. Add Maybe, play best of 3, or hide the answers until the wheel stops.
The wheel starts with Yes and No four times round, in green and rose. Change it in the panel: Answers adds Maybe, Sets repeats the answers 1 to 5 times, and Mystery hides them.
Yes. Every slice is the same size, and each spin picks one with your browser’s cryptographic random numbers, the kind used for passwords, not a pattern. Nothing remembers the last spin, so Yes is never “due”. To check, we spun it 10,000 times:
More sets don’t change the odds: four Yes and four No slices are still half and half. They only change how the wheel looks, and how often it ticks past an answer as it slows down.
Runs feel rigged, but they’re normal. Spin a yes or no spinner 20 times and you’ll almost always see the same answer three times in a row, and nearly half the time five:
Adding Maybe breaks runs up: with three answers, five in a row in 20 spins drops from 46% to 13%. Our 10,000 spins with Maybe never went past 9 in a row.
Turn on Maybe when a straight yes or no feels too final. Each answer then gets a third of the wheel, and Maybe in amber is your cue to spin again or sleep on it. For a wheel with more personality, the Magic 8 Ball wheel has the toy’s 20 answers, from “It is certain” to “Very doubtful”.
Mystery keeps the suspense: Wheel puts a question mark on every slice, and Result keeps the answer hidden until you tap to reveal it. Good for streams, classrooms and party games.
Not sure about one spin? The Count keeps every yes and no, so play best of 3 or best of 5: the first answer to 2, or to 3, wins. Reset clears the count, and Undo brings it back. A best of 3 ends 2–0 half the time and goes to a third spin the other half.
A yes or no flip with a coin, a yes or no button and a yes or no generator all give the same 50/50 answer. The wheel adds what they can’t: Maybe, a running count, a mystery mode, and a spin long enough to notice which answer you’re hoping for. If you feel a twinge when it lands, that’s your real answer.

Use it for small, fun choices, not for health, money or safety. Need to pick from more than two? Make your own picker wheel on the wheel of names, or ask the Deep Questions wheel for something to talk about.
Spin counts are from our own test of 10,000 spins of each wheel, picked the same way as on this page, on . Run chances are exact, for 20 spins.
